Sebutan Vokal dan Konsonan Bahasa Melayu

The Malay language is represented by 26 letters consisting of vowels and consonants.

There are 5 vowels in the Malay language sound system which are aeio and u. The vowel e is divided into two types: ‘e pepet’ and ‘e taling’. Each of these vowels can be combined with any consonants in the Malay language to form a word.
