Postgraduate Intensive English 2 (PIE 2)

• PIE 2 (Compulsory for international applicants who have been given provisional admission and obtained one of the following English Language test scores)

1. IETLS (5.5)
2. TOEFL Internet-Based (51-64)
3. MUET (Old Format) - Band 3 (160-179)
4. MUET (New Format) - Band 4
5. CIEP ELS (107,108)
6. ELS Placement Test (108,109)
7. PTE Academic (51-58)
8. Cambridge Linguaskill (162-168)

Duration          : 14 weeks

Registration    : PIE 2 will be registered as an AUDIT (AU) course. Students are required to complete   and pass the PIE in the first year of study. However, if they fail a course, they will be given another semester to repeat and pass the course. Students are required to pay additional fees (RM220 per credit) for course repeat. If any student fails the course after the second attempt, the provisional admission will be withdrawn.

Evaluation       : Course work – 70% & Examination – 30%
